Here are the calculations to follow:

  • 0,5 % for the first valuable slice not exceeding 50 000 $
  • 1 % for the valuable slice superior to 50 000 $, without exceeding 250 000 $
  • 1,5 % for the valuable slice superior to 250 000 $, without exceeding 500 000 $
  • 2 % for the valuable slice superior to 500 000 $, without exceeding 1 000 000 $
  • 2,5 % for the slice superior to 1 000 000 $

To give you a concrete example:

Purchase 2 000 000.00$ (it only a example), municipal Value $750 000.

Decently always to take the value the most raised between the purchase price and the municipal value, the example below will be made on 2 000 000.00$

  • 0,5 % for the first valuable slice not exceeding 50 000 $ = $250
  • 1 % for the valuable slice superior to 50 000 $, without exceeding 250 000 $ $2000
  • 1,5 % for the valuable slice superior to 250 000 $, without exceeding 500 000 $ $3750
  • 2 % for the valuable slice superior to 500 000 $, without exceeding 1 000 000 $ = $10000
  • 2,5 % for the slice superior to 1 000 000 $ = $25000

For a big 41 000.00$ total.
